Danni's Hair Regimen

As  I’ve I said before I spend a lot of time on my hair, so I told I’d share what I use to maintain my twist and turns. I try to wash my hair once a week.

  1. Being the product junkie I am, I like to try new shampoos often but I always go back to L’Oreal sulfate free shampoos. The one I’m currently is the EverSleek. After about 2 to washes, I rinse out and immediate apply conditioner.
  2. I put the conditioner in my hair solely to detangle, so for this I use any cheapie conditioner I can get my hand on. I rinse that out and apply whatever conditioner I’m going to use for a deep conditioner.
  3. At the moment I use Giovanni’s Smooth As Silk Deep Moisture Conditioner. I divide my hair into about 8 sections. I apply the conditioner then twist that section. I put on a shower cap, then go about my day. And when I say go about my day I mean, eat, watch marathons of random tv show, eat, and take the longest nap possible.
  4. When I whenever I gain the motivation again, I rinse out the conditioner and apply my leave-in conditioner. I use Kinky Curly Knot Today and I freaking love this stuff!!!!!!!!
  5. As I’m styling my hair(twisting, braiding, bantu knoting.lol), I apply Shea Moisture’s Curl Enhancing Smoothie(Note:This product does not create curls, meaning you hair must already be curly to get the desired affect) and seal using shea butter. I hate using a blow dryer, so I let my hair air dry. I normally wait until the weekend to wash, which leads to this being and all day event.lol. Now this it’s winter, I do a hot oil treatment every other week.
Peace
Danielle
