After reading a few post from my sister's blog, I really got inspire to explore the DMV area and in turn share it with you guys out there. I’m finding its difficult to explore a place you’ve living all of your life.lol. Pushing the discouragement to side, I open up Google and prepare to research for my life(in Rupaul voice). I figure the best place to start is where I live, Upper Marlboro. So I type it in the search bar, and you know comes up? NOTHING!!!!! Ok, well not exactly but pretty damn close. One website listed; Six Flags of America (which isn’t even in Upper Marlboro), Marlton Golf Course (which is being shut down), Strike Zone Pitch & Putt (which been closed since I was in the 5th grade). SMH. It then dawned on me that I live in the most uncool place of all of the DMV. All Upper Marlboro is good for is peace and quiet, which is very much needed. But being the young 20 something busy-body that I am, I need more!!!
After making my discover about how uncool my hometown is, shared with Stephanie who not surprised. She simply suggested that we go in the city(DC), find stuff there. Agreed. So next week Steph and I are going to hit city. For what reason you ask? shrugs I have no idea but hopefully the outcome will be a good time, a blog, and maybe even a DITLO(Day In The Life Of). Fingers crossed.
