Clarisonic Diaries: Part 2

Clarisonic Mia 2

Okay so it has been about a month since I bought my Clarisonic Mia 2, and I come back to report SUCCESS!!! As I mentioned before in April, I just added the Clarisonic to my morning and night face routine. Unfortunately, that was not the answer... the cleanser I was using was a Clean and Clear Salicylic Acid Wash, and it was not good enough for my acne. So I switched some my products...
Starting with the Clarisonic Acne Daily Clarifying Cleanser, and yes it is a little pricy at about $36 a bottle. But a week with this cleanser and my acne didn't just stop hurting but it dried up. I use two pumps of this cleanser per wash, one to apply directly to my face and one to apply to the Mia 2 before turning it on. The Mia 2 has a timer built into it, one session equals 1 minute (20 seconds for the forehead, 20 seconds for the chin and nose, and 10 seconds for each cheek), I use my Mia 2 for 2 minutes (2 sessions) every time I wash my face. I rinse my face with warm water twice and once with cold water to close my pores.

After drying my face with a towel, I apply Simple Replenishing Rich Moisturizer. This combination of products seem to be working for my face very well, even my acne scarring is fading. The only thing I'm going to add to this regime in July is the Clarisonic Acne Brush Replacement.
