Am I the only one a little leery about all of these hair care company coming out with "natural products"?
Exhibit A:Naturally You by Motions—All my life I've related Motions with relaxer, mainly because thats was the brand used on my hair back in the day. Every time I see a yellow and purple label I think "RELAXER!!! BURNING SCALP!!!!! THE HORROR!!!!" Clearly 

Exhibit B: Curl Care by Dr. Miracles—Now when I think of Dr.Miracles I think of those crappy commercial that aired on BET in the middle of College Hill. I've never used their products so I don't know if they're any but I never heard anything good about them either. I just remember those commercials being so horrible that I never even wanted to try  
Exhibit C: Curls Unleashed by Organic Root Stimulator— I remember using their products when I started college thinking "Oh, yeah. My hair is really going to grow now."lol. What I remember most is the ill sheen spray and getting that oil sheen everywhere in the bathroom.



 
Exhibit D: True Textures by Mizani— According to the the hair stylist that charged me $130 for a touch-up and trim(yeah, isn got real), "Mizani makes the best products for black hair" *dry cough*  "Oprah and Vanessa Williams uses their relaxers" *cue eyeroll* Needless to say my hair did the same as it did with an other relaxer.


For years these companies have been pushing the idea that "Black women your hair isn't beautiful naturally. Here, use this to be beautiful." So it's a hard for me to accept these companies philosophy in regards to naturally. But then again these products could actually be good, as for right now I ain't buying(literally,lol). What do you think? Have any of your ladies tried any of these products?

    I'm definitely with you, I guess they feel the urge to convert or create, since most their consumers are going natural, so it's being used as a money making scheme, plus from most of the reviews I've read on those products are bad reviews.
